Terms of service

These Terms govern your use of Greenlit (aigreenlit.com) and related services, including the browser extension. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Greenlit.

Greenlit helps you find jobs, score fit against your profile, prepare materials, track applications, and fill forms. We are not your employer, recruiter, or legal counsel. Job listings come from third-party sources and may be incomplete or out of date.

You stay in control. Default fill pauses at review — you submit. Pro Auto-submit Beta only submits Greenhouse jobs you select and confirm in a batch. We do not silently spray applications.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and legally able to work where you apply.

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, experience, or work authorization to employers
• Use Greenlit to spam, harass, scrape job boards beyond normal product use, or circumvent security or rate limits
• Reverse-engineer or abuse the API, quotas, or billing in bad faith
• Upload malware or content you do not have rights to use

Resume and cover-letter AI only reuses or rephrases content you provide — do not ask the product to invent credentials.

Free and Pro features are described in the product. Pro is billed through RevenueCat / Stripe under the plan you choose. Taxes may apply. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal linked from Profile when available, or by contacting support.

Quotas and Auto-submit daily limits are part of the product design. Refunds for unused periods are handled case-by-case — email [email protected].

The extension runs in your browser on supported application sites. Employer sites change often; fills may fail, leave fields blank, or encounter CAPTCHAs. You are responsible for reviewing what is submitted under your name.

Auto-submit Beta is opt-in, limited, and may pause when human action is required (e.g. CAPTCHA). We may change eligibility, limits, or disable the beta.

Employers, ATS platforms, Gmail, Stripe, and other third parties have their own terms. Greenlit is not responsible for their sites, decisions, or data practices.

Greenlit, its branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you upload (resumes, cover letters). You grant us a license to host and process that content solely to provide the service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, match accuracy, uninterrupted uptime, or that every job site will fill correctly.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENLIT AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your applications to employers, or your misuse of the service.

You may stop using Greenlit anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users. Provisions that should survive (liability, IP, indemnity) survive termination.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree, stop using the service and request account deletion.
